I'm glad that you have found me. I'm sure there must be a reason why you are here. So, take your time, look around, and learn more about D26 INK.
My name is Declan Chaluku. I'm the main and only artist at D26 INK. I started D26 INK in 2019 in Chiang Mai when I was still studying at my third year at Chiang Mai University. I always work alone until now. I'm Poe Karen ethnic originally from Burma/Myanmar. This is the 4th shop I have opened. I can communicate fluently in Poe Karen, Sagaw Karen, Burmese, English and conversational Thai.
D26 INK is now located in Mae Sot, Thailand. It was born in Chiang Mai in 2019 as FMRS NO. 3, former name. On 2 May 2022, It was renamed to D26 INK. In 2020, it made its first move and opened officially in Myawaddy, Karen State, Burma. Because of Covid-19, the shop was forced to move and reopened in two different places in Hlaingbwe towns

In 2020, it made its first move and opened officially in Myawaddy, Karen State, Burma. Because of Covid-19, the shop was forced to move and reopened in two different places in Hlaingbwe township, Karen State, Burma. Then military coup began the following year in 2021 which resulted the shop to move again due to political instability and economic crisis. This is the difficult time for all Myanmar people. Therefore, the shop is relocated to Mae Sot and now it is here for you. The shop aims to move to the USA in the future.
Personally, I like and prefer realism tattoos. Now I'm trying to do all styles of tattoo as possible. However, There is one thing you need to know. I don't do big Polynesian tattoos and big cover up. Sometimes, small cover up is possible.
Although my shop is small, I promise you a better quality of tattoo result and friendly atmosphere. During my tattoo course, I had studied about equipment and sanitation. Don't worry about the materials I use during my tattoo procedure. Everything is new and clean, for example, single use needles, gloves, ink cups, grip tapes, and so on.

I use only US imported inks and other items to provide you the top quality and great experience. I offer free wi-fi and drinking water. The shop is air-conditioned too.

Please reach us at d26ink@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
People always ask me this question and I know they will always ask. Yes, tattoo hurts. Some parts of your body are more painful than other parts. So, it depends on the placement. Some people would say tattoos don't hurt at all. They lie. It will hurt maybe a little or even more. You should try it. Why not?
To be honest, this question is killing me every time they ask. This is a modern world. There are many needles available. Don't worry. My shop might look small, but I use professional materials only. I don't like cheap products. I manage everything clean during tattoo procedure. I have learned about equipment and sanitation during my tattoo study.
Gosh! Some people are like, 'why do you shave me? I don't have hair. Sometimes, the hair are very thin and small. They can stick to the tip of the needle while tattooing. As a result, the needle will not penetrate the skin smoothly. Shave it, tattoo good and beautiful result.
Some people or sometimes even artists would tell you not to eat meat after you get a new tattoo. According to my experience, eating meat is fine after you get a new tattoo. I already tried it many times and nothing happened to my new tattoos. In some cases, for example, if you are allergic to shrimp, then don't eat it. This can affect your new tattoo. Also, if you get your new tattoos with the wrong artist and he or she tattoos you very deep into your skin, then don't eat meat. This can cause your tattoo a scar. Choosing a tattoo artist wisely is also important. I reply here about eating meat only, not including about different after care yet.
I'm sorry. My shop is small and cannot afford to have assistant artist yet. However, I accept guest artist. If you are interested, you can message me at (D26 INK) Facebook page or call my phone directly for details.
Yes, it is better. I prefer booking in advance for your tattoo sessions. Walk-in tattoo is possible, but small tattoos only. If the tattoo is big, you need booking for appointment. I might close the shop sometimes, so please booking is preferable.
Well, you can pay all at once if you have enough money. Down payment is possible too, but this applies to big project only, for instance, full back, full sleeve, full leg, full chest, and maybe full body?
I charge based on size, color, design and placement. Different size, different price. Color tattoos are always more expensive than back tattoos. Some designs are very complicated while some are very simple even they are the same size. They consume different time period, so as different price. Same tattoo but different placement can sometimes lead to different price as well. For example, if you place your tattoo on your throat, it is more difficult to tattoo and take more time than tattooing on your hand. Therefore, these are you need to consider about charging a price.
No, I don't do home service tattoo. For example, I don't go tattoo at customer's home or at the hotel even for extra price.
I don't tattoo at night. My working hours, 9am - 5pm everyday. Sometimes, I tattoo later than 5pm depending on if I can finish the work or the customers do not have time for another session.
I'm totally fine. I can tattoo the whole body including private parts if customers are okay tattooing in the shop. In this case, the customers might not be comfortable tattooing in the shop. I will consider tattooing outdoor, at home or hotel, but only if I know customers well enough and the place is private.
